It's that time of year again: time for Gladstone Brie's wicked music festival! And this year, there's a special guest making an appearance with the Easy Crew...none other than music legend Toots. But disaster strikes when Toots doesn't show up. Where can he be? And why is Ice Popp, a keen young rapper, so ready to jump in and take his place? With the clock ticking, there's not much time to find Toots before the concert. Luckily Rastamouse and friends are on the case! A random set of roadworks, a mysterious diversion that goes nowhere and a set of traffic lights permanently on red - all of these things must mean something...but what?

Genevieve Webster studied Graphics and Illustration at Canterbury and Norwich Schools of Art before moving to London in 1988. She has worked in children’s books for over twenty years. It was Genevieve’s passion for language and dialect and her love of Caribbean culture that inspired her to co-create Rastamouse. Michael de Souza left his native Trinidad to join his parents in London in 1960. He has spent most of the last fifteen years teaching swimming, and it was his love of teaching and working with children that inspired Michael to pursue a career in writing.
