Demaio, Daniel N.: - Daniel DeMaio, M.Ed., R.T.(R)(CT) is well-known and respected in the radiography world. The world's largest radiologic science association elected him to serve on its Board of Directors, and he was installed as vice Speaker of the House for the 2019-2020 term at the annual meeting of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists in Orlando, Florida, in June.
DeMaio is associate professor of radiography and radiologic technology program director in the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions (ENHP) at the University of Hartford.
He was previously chairman of the ASRT Commission, Education Chapter chairman and delegate. In addition, he has served on the board of the Connecticut Society of Radiologic Technologists.
