This volume features writer Tom Fowler in collaboration with series artist CJ Cannon in a three-issue tale of missing heads, galactic doom toasters, and Jerry screwing everything up (of course). Also included is 'READY PLAYER MORTY,' in which Rick takes Morty to a High School Simulation planet, by writer Pamela Ribon and artist Marc Ellerby, as well as a high-action deathball tournament one-shot written and drawn by Tom Fowler.
Tom Fowler is a cartoonist and illustrator who has worked in comics, advertising, and film and game design for a variety of clients including Disney, Simon & Schuster, Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, MAD, Valiant, Marvel, and DC Comics. His best known comics include the MAD Magazine feature Monroe; Venom, Hulk Season One, Quantum & Woody, the critically acclaimed Mysterius the Unfathomable, and the all-ages series HOWTOONS:[re]IGNITION. Tom writes, and sometimes draws, the popular Rick and Morty comic series.
CJ Cannon is a self-taught artist living in Nashville, Tennessee. When they're not working on comics, outside riding their bike, or drumming, they're almost always in the house drawing fan art.
Marc Ellerby is a comic book illustrator from the UK. He is probably most known for his work on the Rick and Morty comics from Oni Press and [adult swim]. He has worked with companies such as Disney, Warner Bros., BBC, Hasbro and Cartoon Network. However, he is never as happy when he is drawing his own comics such as Chloe Noonan: Monster Hunter or the autobiographical diary comic Ellerbisms.
