Roanoke by Pete Eshelman
The evolution of Roanoke, located in northeast Indiana, is typical of many American small towns. For over a century, Roanoke grew and prospered, but by the 1980's, its painful decline was evident. The triumph of Roanoke's renewal stands as an example to communities striving to revitalize and reinvent their town and their way of life. The true story of one small town's restoration, Roanoke is a modern-day "It's a Wonderful Life."
