The Sandstone Tower by Betty Swinford

Jon and Tara have moved to the East Coast of America. Tara is making the best of it. Jon is thoroughly fed up. The continuous noise of screaming gulls and crashing waves is enough to drive a guy nuts - and there's nowhere he can use his rollerblades. It's only sand and ocean for as far as the eye can see. But there is the old tower in the distance, that might be worth a look, as there's nothing better to do. Jon and Tara are soon caught up in a startling mystery, tackling their own fears to work out what is truth and what is fantasy. What was that noise, those shadowy figures? Was it a trick of the light, or something more sinister? Why did they ever have to get involved? Betty Swinford has written an ideal book for the reader who wants an edge of your seat, nail-biting, back- shivering tale that also gives a clear biblical, uncompromising godly message.
Betty Swinford first began to write when she was only eight years old using an old toy type-writer. After over thirty years in evangelistic work she spent most of her time writing books and teaching an adult Sunday school class. She lived in the mountains of northern Arizona until her death in 2007.
