Antony Worrall Thompson is best known for his appearances on Ready Steady Cook and as the charismatic resident cook on Food and Drink. He is a well-respected chef, and in 1987 received the Meilleur Ouvrier de Grande Bretagne (the chef's Oscar awarded by the Académie Culinaire). Antony opened his first restaurant, Ménage à Trois, in 1981. Since then he has opened many more successful restaurants, including Wiz and Woz in west London.
