James Strock is a leadership author and speaker who has won numerous awards. He has a four-decade love for the practice of leadership. In business, government, and politics, he is an independent entrepreneur and reformer. Since 1997, he has been the founder of the Serve to Lead Group, which has served clients all throughout the United States and the world. Strock also worked as a senior executive in the public sector, serving as the State of California's founding secretary for environmental protection, the US Environmental Protection Agency's lead law enforcement officer, the US Office of Personnel Management's general counsel, and special counsel to the US Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
