Charles Fuller teaches Afro-American studies at Temple University and is the author of numerous award-winning stage and screen dramas. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his cinematic adaptation of A Soldier's Tale, starring Denzel Washington, and received the Pulitzer Prize for A Soldier's Play.
