Special Agent Candice DeLong's 20 year career in the FBI has seen her working on some of the toughest, high-stakes criminal investigations in the USA. She has trailed terrorists and helped track the notorious Tylenol killer; she was one of only three agents hand-picked to mastermind the manhunt for the Unabomber; she has gone undercover for major stings; and as Profiling Coordinator she had a key role at the Bureau's Behavioural Science Unit, which spearheads investigations into the most recondite serial murderers and sex crimes. She has also had to battle to gain respect in what was - and still is - a highly male-dominated world.
Candice DeLong is the FBI's Head Field Profiler in San Francisco, helping to track 'pattern criminals', such as serial rapists and murderers, and serving as the liaison to the Bureau's Behavioral Science Unit. As a Special Agent, she investigates such federal offences as terrorism and specialises in the prevention of child abuse.
