She lives in Wales with her family.
Lauren Tobia graduated from the University of the West of England with a degree in Illustration and was highly commended in the Macmillan Children's Book Prize. The early success of the Anna Hibiscus novels, which she illustrated, led to Lauren’s first picture book, Anna Hibiscus’ Song. She lives in Bristol with her family.
