Carlene Thompson is the author of several works, including Last Whisper, Black for Remembrance, Nowhere to Hide, and Don't Shut Your Eyes. She received her Ph.D. after attending Marshall University. Ohio State University awarded me a bachelor's degree in English. She worked as a professor at the University of Rio Grande before leaving to pursue her passion for writing full-time. She spends her time caring for the many dogs and cats she has adopted in addition to writing. She lives in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, with her husband Keith, a native West Virginian.
