Praise from the field… “The question is no longer whether or not we should employ the strategy of distributed leadership to improve our schoolsThe question is how we should do this. In Dr. Edward’s book, he provides us with the how through inspiring stories of the power of distributed leadership and with practical, every day strategies for building a culture of leadership from our students to our parents to our teachers to our principals to our central leaders. The spirit you feel when visiting the Mooresville Graded School District comes alive in this book, and it renews my passion for ensuring everyone has a voice in the work we do to make a difference for every child, every day."  -  Dr. Aaron Spence, Superintendent, Virginia Beach City Schools, Virginia Beach, Virginia   “Once I started to read this book, I couldn’t put it down. I actually read the book twice in three days. The first time I was able to capture the big picture items and the concept of distributed leadership. I then went back and took notes on how I can change my practice based on the content included in the book.”  - Dr. David Schuler, Superintendent–High School District 214, Arlington Heights, Illinois   “My major goal is to build capacity in our leaders to forward our strategic goals. Dr. Edwards does a great job in this book of helping us to think through the depth of our leadership capacity and how to maximize their potential.”  - Dr. Lynn Moody, Superintendent, Rowan-Salisbury School System, Salisbury, North Carolina
