Chris Scarre is emeritus professor of archaeology at the University of Durham and was head of its archaeology department from 2010 to 2013. He is editor of The Human Past: World Prehistory and the Development of Human Societies and author of numerous books, including The Megalithic Monuments of Britain and Ireland and Chronicle of the Roman Emperors: The Reign-By-Reign Record of the Rulers of Imperial Rome. Tammy Stone is a professor of anthropology?at the University of Colorado Denver.?She has won four awards for excellence in teaching and has been on the Society for American Archaeologists curriculum committee twice, 2012–14 and 2007–10. Stone has published papers on integrating diverse interest groups in undergraduate curriculums (in the journal The SAA Archaeological Record, January 2014) and the book A Pocket Guide to Mentoring Higher Education Faculty.
