Lorna R. Vanderhaeghe, B.Sc., began exploring nutritional medicine twenty years ago, after conventional doctors could not heal a family illness. Returning to college, Lorna completed her pre-med requirements and studied biochemistry. Since then, her work as a contributor to alive magazine and as editor-in-chief of Healthy Living Guide, as well as her work for The Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine, has put her in contact with some of the most brilliant researchers and doctors in orthomolecular medicine.
Her first book, The Immune System Cure (1999), is an award-winning best seller that has been published in six countries, and is available in four languages. In response to her readers' need for the latest research in immunology, Lorna launched the Healthy Immunity Web site and started publishing the Healthy Immunity newsletter. Currently she is a contributing writer for dozens of magazines and an editor for Total Health magazine.
