In Torts: Doctrine and Process, Donald H. Beskind and Doriane Lambelet Coleman draw on their experience as academics and practitioners to offer a rigorous first-year course that covers intentional torts, negligence, and strict liability, and that meets the highest intellectual and analytical capabilities of today’s law students. Donald H. Beskind is Professor of the Practice of Law at Duke Law School, where he regularly teaches Evidence and Trial Practice. He has substantial experience as a civil and criminal litigator and as a teacher of litigation skills.
Doriane Lambelet Coleman is Professor of Law at Duke Law School where she regularly teaches Trusts and Estates, Medicine and Law, and Children and Law. Her scholarship focuses in these areas.
