For third and fourth semester French. This reader is designed for students who need strategies to make the transition from reading elementary to more advanced texts, to make sense of the different levels of meaning in these texts, and to develop cultural and literary sensitivity. Ross Steele is an honorary associate professor at the University of Sydney specializing in French society and culture. He was Adjunct Fellow of the National Foreign Language Center in Washington, DC. For his work promoting French language and culture internationally, he was been awarded the Chevalier de la Lü¾Ž–”¼gion d'Honneur, Officier de l'Ordre National du Mü¾Ž–”¼rite, and Officier des Palmes Acadü¾Ž–”¼miques.
