Weird Oklahoma by Wesley Treat

Oklahoma has a history thats both notorious and peculiar, from legendary natives like Giggling Granny-a jovial woman responsible for as many as eleven murders-to Shamans Portal, a gateway said to have swallowed handfuls of unsuspecting travelers over the last few centuries. And keep your camera at the ready for shape-shifting manimals On this tour of the Sooner State, youll encounter the outlandish, exceptional, and bizarre.

Wesley Treat, one of the three authors of Weird Texas, has spent the last decade scouring the state for strange roadside attractions in the hopes of being approached by two people from the east coast to collaborate on a book. Wesley appreciates photography as a hobby as well as a career. He enjoys singing 80s tunes at stoplights, smuggling outside food into movie theaters, and correctly spelling words in his leisure time. Pressing buttons and buying unnecessary office supplies are two of his favorite pastimes. Miniature cupcakes are his favorite meal. He currently resides in Arlington, Texas, and is on the lookout for an evil genius in pigtails.

Ability to read maps is a advantage. Interested parties should visit www.wesleytreat.com and upload a photo and a 50-word description of their master plan.
