Zinnia & Dot by Lisa Campbell Ernst

As players of Monster Hunter and Dungeons & Dragons know, the slime is not exactly the king of the fantasy monsters. So when a 37-year-old Tokyo salaryman dies and wakes up in a world of elves and magic, he's a little disappointed to find he's become a blind, boneless slime monster.

RAISING THE DEAD

With the Falmuth army decimated, Rimuru's transformation into a Demon Lord finally begins. A successful evolution would mean unlocking new powers and a chance to resurrect the dead, but as Rimuru and his followers are forced into a deep sleep, the future is all but certain. Fortunately, the mysterious demon Rimuru summoned has every intention of seeing his master return as the slime he always was, no matter the cost.

Lisa Campbell Ernst enjoyed traveling with her family to the Gulf Coast and other renowned vacation destinations as a child growing up in the Midwest. When she takes her own family to the beach in the summer, she still appreciates the sand and sea. Lisa Campbell Ernst has written and drawn over twenty picture books, including Stella Louella's Runaway Book, which won the Kansas Children's Choice Award, and Sam Johnson and the Blue Ribbon Quilt, which is still in print. She resides in Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband and two daughters.
