The "Oxford Reading Tree Dictionary" features all the favourite ORT characters from Floppy to Wilma. It presents alphabet down the side of each page. It contains 300 colour headwords and colour illustrations. Special topic words at the back help with extended word level work. It also contains introduction on how to get the best out of the dictionary. The "Oxford Reading Tree" is used in over 18,000 primary schools (approximately 75 per cent of all primary schools). Roderick Hunt has been writing children's stories for 25 years. Alex Brychta has drawn cartoons from an early age and has devoted 12 years of his career to ORT. The combination of Rod and Alex with the lexicographical expertise of Clare Kirtley makes this a welcome addition to the ORT material.
