Pohl, Robert S.: - Robert Pohl is a stay-at-home dad, tour guide and author. He has previously written a book on the history of his house, as well as a book looking at the emancipation of the slaves in the District of Columbia. He writes a regular column for both the Hill Rag and the Hill Is Home. Pohl began as a computer programmer but gave that up for a more eclectic lifestyle. When not playing with his son, touring eighth graders through Washington or writing, Pohl volunteers at his local library and his son's school. Robert Pohl lives on Capitol Hill with his wife, son and two cats.
