The 43 Group by Morris Beckman

Oswald Mosley decided he could carry on where Hitler and Mussolini had left off. On street corners his fascist speakers would proclaim 'not enough Jews were burned at Belsen'. Enter the 43 Group. In a ferocious, bloody and brilliantly covert five-year campaign, they destroyed the Mosleyites. The membership of the Group was almost entirely made up of British servicemen, the original 43 members quickly swelling to more than 300 and including a Battle of Britain ace, a VC winner - and even Vidal Sasson This book is a timely reminder of how fascism gathers strength, and of one novel way of stopping it.
Morris Beckmanserved as a radio officer in the Merchant Navy during World War II. He took part in the Battle of the Atlantic and was torpedoed and bombed, which he described in Atlantic Roulette. Late in 1942, he joined the Mogul Line in Bombay and his ships ran supplies to the Middle Easthe took part in the invasions of Sicily and Italy. He was the founder member of the 43 Group of Jewish ex-servicemen which attacked and destroyed Mosley's Fascist party in a protracted campaign in the 1940s. He is the author of the acclaimed The Jewish Brigade: An Army with Two Masters 1944-45.
