ABC’s From Ecuador, With Hope, provides K-4 readers with a Spanish-English overview, organized by the letters of the alphabet, with a photographic journal of the children, places and culture of Ecuador. Included is a phonetic pronunciation of each Spanish word.

Cameron Graham Vivanco and her family have lived in Quito, Ecuador since 2002.  She is originally from Durham, NC where she learned the value of education and of scholarships at Durham Academy (C'91). She wanted to pay their generosity of learning and support forward and thus co-founded Education Equals Hope, a micro-scholarship program, to help students in difficult and desperate situations.  She has read countless ABC books to her own children and wants to share the beauty of Ecuador and the value of education with us all. Kelly Cox Vivanco is an Ecuadorian Designer with a degree in Advertising and a passion for strategical communication. She has worked with Education Equals Hope since 2019 as communications coordinator and international teams host/ translator, combining her love for creating connections through  design and language.
