Myers, Anna: - Anna Myers is the author of twenty books for young people. She is a native of west Texas, where, so she was told, her brother pulled her from a tumbleweed. The family returned to Oklahoma when she was still an infant. She has lived in the state since then save for two years in New York where she was married at Woodstock to a fellow Oklahoman. Myers has received four Oklahoma Book Awards as well as a Lifetime Achievement medal from the Oklahoma Center for the Book. A member of the Oklahoma Writers' Hall of Fame, Myers lives in Tulsa, where she is at work on a new book. Read about her stories and school visits at her author website: www.annamyersauthor.com.
