This is part of a French course, consisting of a pupil's book, a teacher's book and two cassettes, which provides preparation for GCSE Basic and Standard Grade. Although its approach is mature, being aimed at pupils aged 14 and over, it assumes virtually no previous knowledge of the language. The course is considered particularly useful for rekindling the interest of pupils who will carry on with French in Years 10 and 11 / S3 and S4, but have possibly retained little of their first three years of learning. It is also suitable for adult evening classes.
