Beat the Dutch Defense by Jan Boekelman

T Sound aggression against the Dutch Defence   Promises good attacking chances and avoids learning reams of theory about the Leningrad Dutch, the Stonewall or the Classical Dutch, opening set-ups our opponent knows everything about?    This book explores such a system for White with a complete repertoire based on the Staunton gambit.    A repertoire for White, with attention for various alternatives White may choose from along the way, and an in-depth analysis of all of Black's responses.
Jan Boekelman is a Dutch chess enthusiast and theorist. In his younger years he participated in the Dutch Youth Championships, the Open Dutch Championships and he played a number of years in a team  in the Dutch national league. In those years he wrote theoretical articles for the New in Chess magazine and its predecessor Schaakbulletin. After a long stay outside the Netherlands, Jan has picked up chess again. He now focuses mainly on opening analyses. This is his second book for Thinkers Publishing, his first being the most acclaimed "Modernized King's Indian - Averbakh Variation" of 2021.
