The images, shapes, forms, colours and textures of the Greek Islands have inspired Hans Silvester, the famous photographer of the book "Cats of the Greek Islands", to another mode of expression, far different from conventional documentary photography. "Kaleidoscope", Greek for "beautiful form", lies somewhere between painting and photography, the shapes, colours and materials combining to form almost abstract compositions.
