For a brave warthog like Boris, adventure is always just around the corner! This series is part of Scholastic's early chapter book line called Branches, which is aimed at newly independent readers. With easy-to-read text, high-interest content, fast-paced plots, and illustrations on every page, these books will boost reading confidence and stamina. Branches books help readers grow!Boris is having a sleepover! He's camping in the backyard with Frederick and Alice. And they are not one bit scared of the dark. No way!But what is that strange light moving around outside the tent? And what is making all of those strange, scary noises? It's up to Boris to find out....

Andrew Joyner is a cartoonist and illustrator from Australia. The Horrible Plop was his first picture book, and it was published in 2009. Andrew created his own book series based on Boris, a daring warthog, not long after. He also illustrates for newspapers and publications on a regular basis, in addition to his children's book projects. Andrew, his family, and nineteen pets live in Strathalbyn, South Australia.
