The book contains 80 readings arranged in 12 sections of differing length. Each reading consists of a 'key verse', reflection, plus comment on a linked Bible passage and a short prayer or suggestion for prayer. Some of the issues this book presents a bridge to the world are: in change, in the way we live, in differing points of view, as well as looking at biblical principles and ideas such as the armour of God, Prayer and Praise and matters closer to heart: family matters, concluding with a crucial subject for today: hearing God.

Ian Coffey is senior minister of Crossroads Church, Geneva - an international and interdenominational church. He has written twelve books and is a member of the Leadership Team of Spring Harvest, Europe's largest annual religious conference. Kim Bush is married to Jon and they have three grown up children. She has been a minister's wife, run her own business, worked in a busy doctors' surgery and is now a full-time student studying English Literature with Philosophy.
