Cathi Nelson, author of Picture Organizing Made Simple, is the creator of APPO (Association of Personal Photo Organizers), a membership organization dedicated to assisting hundreds of entrepreneurs from all over the world in starting and growing successful photo preservation and organizing enterprises. She has been interviewed by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, The Atlantic, and Better Homes and Gardens, and is a regular contributor to Houzz. She is considered a forerunner in the photo organizing industry. She's spoken at the National Association of Professional Organizers, the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers in London, the Professional Organizers of Canada, and Tory Johnson's Spark and Hustle Boston, among others. Cathi has a Women's Leadership Certificate from Hartford Seminary, a Master's Degree in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Connecticut.
