Featuring more than 500 images from legendary photographers such as Henry Diltz, Barry Feinstein, Curt Gunther, Jim Marshall, Linda McCartney, Tom Gundelfinger O'Neal, and Guy Webster, the book also includes restored images from the Columbia Records archives and the personal archives of the band's original manager. Accompanied by a running commentary of their memories of the group, the era, one another, and their late compatriots Gene Clark and Michael Clarke, this carefully crafted volume is a truly unique collector's item for Byrds fans.

David E. Crosby is pastor of the First Baptist Church of New Orleans. He has served as a pastor in more than four churches throughout his long career in ministry. Dedicated to the well-being of the greater community, he has created organizations such as the Baptist Crossroads Project and the First Baptist Home Recovery Ministry, both of which assist victims of Hurricane Katrina in rebuilding their damaged homes. Crosby graduated with a bachelor of arts from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, a master of divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a doctorate from Baylor University's School of Religion. He lives in Metairie, Louisiana.
