Danielle Patenaude worked for more than twenty years as a preschool and elementary teacher before moving to the literary world. She began as a copy editor and proofreader in academic publishing, and then turned to writing and adapting works for young people, in publishing and museology. Eric Sevigny is a graphic artist and the illustrator of numerous Caillou titles, such as Caillou: Every Drop Counts, Caillou: Happy Holidays, and Caillou Puts Away His Toys.
