Care to Remember by Gerard M Fealy
Care to Remember is a vibrant and scholarly book that explores aspects of the history of Irish healthcare from the perspective of nurses and midwives. The book documents and analyses for the first time many untold aspects of the work of nurses and midwives in Ireland. The book also explores wider issues of concern to nurses and midwives such as the public image of the nurse in cinema and television and the role of caring in the new millennium.

He is a registered general nurse, a registered psychiatric nurse and a registered nurse tutor. He was formerly principal nurse tutor at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
