John Jarrett is a boxing historian who has had several titles published before including Dynamite Gloves and Gene Tunney: The Golden Guy Who Licked Jack Dempsey Twice. He is the Northern Area Secretary for the British Boxing Board of Control, living in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
