Serge Michel is West Africa Correspondent for Le Monde. Michel has worked as a journalist in Switzerland, Iran and the Balkans and is now based in Senegal. He won the Albert Londres Prize, France's most prestigious journalistic award, for his work in Iran, is the author of several books, and has written for The Independent and The Sunday Times. Michel Beuret has been writing on China and Africa for fifteen years. He first went to China in 1993 and has written extensively on migration and people trafficking in both in China and Europe. Together with Serge Michel, he is the founder of Bondy Blog (Seuil 2006) set up after the riots in the suburbs of Paris in November 2005, which quickly became one of France's top 3 most influential blogs. At present Michel Beuret is Foreign Editor of the prominent Swiss magazine L'Hebdo. Paolo Woods is a photojournalist who has worked all over the world, in Italy, Haiti, Vietnam, Morocco, Egypt, Kosovo and Albania and from 2001 has devoted himself particularly to working in Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. His photographs have appeared in Time, Newsweek, Stern, Le Monde, Geo and many other international publications. He has exhibited in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria and the United States and his pictures are in the French National Library, the FNAC collection and the collection of the Sheik Saud Al-Thani in Qatar. He has received various prizes including a World Press Photo for his work in Iraq.
