Wendy Terrien, an international bestselling author, obtained her first library card at the age of two and began creating her own stories a few years later. Her debut novel, The Rampart Guards (February 2016), was named to Kirkus Reviews' Best Books of 2016 and received a Kirkus starred review. Jason's book two, The League of Governors (August 2017), and Sadie's book two, The Clan Calling (August 2017), are the next books in the series, both prize winners. The Forge of Bonds (February 2020) is the third book in the series (and the fourth physical book). Wendy earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Utah (Go Utes!) then moved to Colorado to pursue her MBA at the University of Denver.

Wendy's marketing skills was concentrated on the financial and technology areas until a career coach intervened and reminded her of her love of writing. Wendy jumped at the chance to attend writers' conferences, workshops, and retreats, and she hasn't stopped since. She is a member of Pikes Peak Writers, the Colorado Authors' League, and the Authors Guild, as well as being on the board of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. Wendy, her husband, Kevin, and their dog, Shea, live in the Denver area.

She's a dark chocolate aficionado, a techie, and feels that every dosage of nature is good for the soul. Wendy is extremely passionate about promoting pet adoption from shelters and rescues.
