Frankie Avalon Wolfe, author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide® to Herbal Remedies and The Complete Idiot’s Guide® to Being Vegetarian 2E, holds a doctorate in holistic nutrition and a masters in holistic healing. She sought her holistic education through several schools and teachers, including the Colorado School of Healing Arts, the American Holistic College of Nutrition/the Clayton College of Natural Health, the Tree of Light Institute, and the Modern Institute of Reflexology and is a member of the American Holistic Health Association and the Coalition for Natural Health. Frankie also spent three years working with a shaman, where she learned the importance of the four-element model as it relates to holistic health and life. She has recently written and created a professional 320-hour reflexology certification program and is in negotiations with several colleges to sell syndication rights. In addition, a high-profile natural health college has asked Frankie to create a reflexology distance learning course for them. She and her husband have recently moved their spa, Healing Feats Natural Health Services, from Boise, ID, to Littleton, CO.
