Confusing Love with Obsession by John D Moore

Confusing Love with Obsession is a must-read for anyone involved in a dangerously obsessive relationship. Fueled by an overwhelming fear of abandonment, people involved in obsessive relationships will go to extreme lengths to control their partner. Here, John D. Moore draws from excruciating real-life stories and personal experience to reveal the inner workings of obsessive relationships. More important, Confusing Love with Obsession helps readers develop a new self-awareness and healthy relationship--free from preoccupation with an object of obsession.
John D. Moore, M.S., is an associate professor of health sciences at American Military University and is a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Illinois with board certification in alcohol and drug counseling. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Moore is a psychotherapist in private practice and is the former group leader of a support group for the relationally dependent. His seminal contributions on the topic of addiction and relationships appear regularly in nationally syndicated magazines, and he lectures widely on the topic of love. A native of Chicago, Moore lives on the city's North Side. Author Home Page: http: //www.johndmoore.ne
