Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Ronnie and Ahli have been raised to do the unthinkable to survive. C.N. Phillips was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and grew up there. She was eight years old when she fell in love with literature, but she kept her writing a secret. She didn't decide to follow her passion of being an novelist until she became a single mother.
