in Washington, D.C., is the author of Joseph Smith I: Pragmatic Prophet.
Linda Thatcher is the coordinator of collections management for
the Utah State Historical Society. LEONARD J. ARINGTON, a professor
emeritus of history at Brigham Young University, is the author of many
books on Mormon history.
Roger D. Launius has written or edited more than thirty books on aerospace history, most recently Historical Analogs for the Stimulation of Space Commerce (2014), and Space Shuttle Legacy: How We Did It and What We Learned (2013).
