As lyrical and Charles Baxter, and as sexy as Zane, Woodward writes with an agile maturity that belies his status as a first-time novelist. Cadillac Orpheus is a crafted, genre-defying romp -- by turns terrifying, hilarious, brave, brazen, and above all, sincere. Solon Timothy Woodward studied philosophy and biology at Harvard and holds a degree in medicine from the University of Virginia. His short fiction has been nominated twice for the Pushcart Prize. A practicing physician, Woodward lives with his family in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jonathan Franzen (Western Springs, Illinois, 1959) fue elegido en 1996 entre los Mejores Jóvenes Novelistas Norteamericanos por la prestigiosa revista Granta.
