Ashbrook, William: - William E. Ashbrook, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Humanities at Indiana State University, is author of the landmark study Donizetti and his Operas. Roger Parker, professor of music at Cambridge University, is the author of numerous studies on Verdi, Puccini, and nineteenth-century Italian opera.
