Kathleen Lynch is a Senior Lecturer in Education in UCD and Co-ordinator of the Quality Studies Centre. She is co-editor of two books in 'Sociology - Ireland: A Sociological Profile' (1986) and 'Irish Socity: Sociological Perspective' (1995). She is also author of two books on education: 'The Hidden Curriculum' (1989) and 'Schools and Society in Ireland' (1993) which she co-authored with Sheelagh Drudy.
