The Four Seasons by Qian Ling
A sturdy pop-up carousel book showing the four seasons in large animated scenes. The pop-up pages capture the colours of each season and more than 100 species of plants and animals are shown. There are flaps to lift and brief texts to enjoy. The carousel is held open by a ribbon.
Qian Ling is an award-winning Chinese illustrator based in Shanghai. She completed her BA in Visual Arts at the University of Finance and Economics in 2017 and received her MFA in Illustration from Syracuse Univsersity in 2021. Her work has been published internationally in chilcren's books and magazines and advertising.
