Her short stories, articles, and poems have appeared in various publications, including Highlights, High Five, Spider, Babybug, The Friend, and Chicken Soup for the Child's Soul. About Archon, she says, The idea for a second book came from a teen who read an early draft of Freakling. When I asked her what she thought of the ending, she said she was worried about Taemon because everyone would be really mad at him. My eyes lit up and I knew that Taemon's story wasn't finished. Lana Krumwiede lives in Richmond, Virginia.
