He has been a Unix system administrator for two decades, and a project manager, technical team lead, and system architect for more than a decade, periodically building multifunctional operational teams from scratch. He earned his BS in mathematics from Brigham Young University and took an MSCIS in IT Project Management from Boston University. Formerly administrator of the Solaris environment at Princeton University, Cromar is the author of Solaris Troubleshooting Handbook and numerous technical articles.
