Thomas F. Mathews, a professor at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University, is also the author of Armenian Gospel Iconography:The Tradition of the Glajor Gospel. Alice Taylor is professor of art history at West Los Angles College and is the author of Book Arts of Isfahan.
