Shanle, Suzette: - Suzette Shanle is a college-educated farmer's wife and the mother of two daughters and one son. She is also a successful entrepreneur, a thirty-year hair stylist (retired), and beauty pageant winner. She loves her family above all else, loves spending time with them, and looks forward to family vacations and other adventures. She is also a big animal lover and has been known to rescue a stray or two and make them part of the family. The author believes in the words of her dearly departed mother: We must learn to let go of past hurts and embrace tomorrow. For the sun will be out tomorrow, and it's sure to be a better day. Suzette also believes that we must learn to forgive ourselves. Only then can we forgive others. She has not quite shaken her daddy issues, and one day hopes to meet her bio-father. Even if that day never comes, she fills her heart with the love she shares with her green-eyed husband, her beautiful daughters, and her veteran son. (And, of course, all the four-legged members of the family.)
