Fred Venturini was born in the town of Patoka in the state of Illinois. His short work has appeared in the Booked Anthology, Noir at the Bar 2, and Surreal South '13, among other publications. Chuck Palahniuk's Burning Tongues anthology includes his short Gasoline. He and his wife and daughter live in Southern Illinois.
