Palmer Brewing Solutions, Inc. was founded by him in 2011 after he left a career in aerospace research and development and metallurgy. John enjoys woodturning, blacksmithing, and reading science fiction and fantasy when he isn't brewing beer, writing about beer, or creating brewing equipment. He and his wife, three children, and cat, Shadow, live in California.
