Introducing Communication Research by Donald Treadwell
Highlighting examples of research in real-world settings throughout, this textbook provides an overview of the research process, covering both quantitative and qualitative methods, statistics, ethics, measurement and more. A concluding chapter shows students how to write up and present their research to various audiences.
“I like Treadwell’s book because its layout, language, topics, chapter lengths and its emphasis on pre-dominantly quantitative social scientific methodsI also like the supplementary readings, recommended Web resources, references, and study sites at the end of each chapter.”
